In 1946, as Jackson's veterans returned from WWII, they united to form the JACKSON VFW POST 4703. The commitment to service went beyond words—these veterans donated land, cleared it by hand, and constructed their first VFW Post Home. Today, that same home stands as a testament to the resilience and dedication of those who served.

Canteen with History:

Our first VFW Post Home, constructed by the hands of WWII veterans, still stands proudly as the Canteen portion of our Post Home. It embodies the legacy of hard work, camaraderie, and the bond shared by those who served during one of the defining moments in history.
